Doses are common starting points (RECOVER CPR guidelines and standard small-animal emergency dosing) and concentrations are typical products — both vary by brand, country and patient. Confirm against your own formulary and the vial in your hand. Cat doses differ from dogs; some drugs are dog-only. Not a substitute for clinical judgement.

How volume is worked out. Total dose = dose (per kg) × body weight in kg. Volume (mL) = total dose ÷ concentration. Drugs dosed directly in mL/kg (e.g. dextrose, calcium) skip the concentration step — volume = mL/kg × kg. Editing a dose or concentration recalculates that row live. Switching species reloads that species' default doses.
