Choose the plan that fits your pet's care.

Every account starts on the Free plan. It carries unlimited pet profiles, unlimited Smart ID tags for each animal, and telehealth video calls at the regular per-call rate. GPS tracking, family sharing and the app's vet chats, pet documents and health tracking are not included.

Live GPS tracking belongs to the Tracker Plan and Premium, so pairing a tracker to a pet needs one of them. Without a paid plan the app opens its “Connect a tracker with a paid plan” screen, and once your plan is active it takes you straight back into pairing. The tracker itself is bought separately from the plan.

No plan includes telehealth consults — every call is paid per call. Premium is the only plan with a discounted per-call rate. The price for each call length is shown in the app before you book, so you always see what a consult costs first.

Inviting family members and sharing a pet need the Tracker Plan or Premium. The people you invite do not need a plan of their own: what counts is the pet owner’s plan, so a family member on the Free plan can still use the owner’s features on the pets shared with them.

Plans are chosen and changed inside the Ask A Vet app, under Profile → Subscriptions. Live prices sit on the plan cards and nothing is charged until you confirm on the next screen. You can pay monthly or yearly, and yearly works out cheaper over the year.

You cancel in the app, under Profile → Subscriptions. The cancellation is scheduled for the end of the period you have already paid for: you keep every paid feature until that date, you are not charged again, and you can resume any time before it.

Your account moves back to the Free plan. Your pet profiles, photos and history stay exactly where they are — you simply lose the paid features (vet chats, editing pet documents, health tracking, family-sharing actions, the discounted telehealth rate and connecting new trackers) until you subscribe again.
