No. This smart ID tag does not continuously track your pet’s location or health. However, when someone scans the tag, you’ll receive an alert with the scan location when available, using the finder’s device location. No. Anyone can access your pet’s profile by scanning the QR code or tapping the tag with an NFC-compatible phone. No app or account is required.
They can instantly access your pet’s digital profile, including the information you choose to share, such as contact details, medical alerts, allergies, medications, dietary needs, and care instructions.
Yes. You’ll receive an alert when your pet’s tag is scanned. When location is available, the alert can also include the location where the scan happened, helping you know where your pet was found.
We recommend using both. A microchip provides permanent identification but requires a compatible scanner. The ASK A VET™ ID Tag gives anyone with a smartphone quick access to your pet’s up-to-date profile and contact information.
No. Your pet’s digital ID profile is included for life at no additional cost. Optional ASK A VET™ features and services may require a separate subscription.
